Dermal Fillers

Why use dermal fillers?

As we age, skin loses vital moisture, tone and plumpness.

Natural substances like elastin, collagen and hyaluronic acid gradually deplete, robbing the skin of suppleness and stretch.

Years of exposure to sun, alcohol and cigarette smoke provide further stress to facial skin, which can affect your confidence levels and pride in your appearance.

Dermal fillers can be used to target:

  • Thinner lips: Lips are especially vulnerable to the ravages of time, having an outer layer which becomes thinner and more sensitive as the body grows older.
  • Frown lines: The corners of the mouth gradually sag as we age, drooping into a perpetual ‘frown’.
  • Cupid’s bow: Cupid loses the bow during the ageing process, as the ‘V’ of the upper lip loses its definition and grows flatter.
  • Vertical creases: Vertical lip wrinkles, folds and lines begin to fan out from the upper lip during ageing, causing the dreaded ‘lipstick bleed’ which alters the appearance.
  • The principal areas of treatment for dermal fillers include cheeks, lips, jawline, nose, chin, folds of skin around the nose, tear troughs (hollows beneath the eyes), the eye area, and drooping corners of the mouth.

What do dermal fillers do?

Dermal fillers are injected just below the surface of the skin to provide structural support.

They give extra facial volume while enhancing the contours of the face, helping to restore a younger appearance which appears natural rather than forced.

The beauty of dermal fillers is that they are a non-surgical treatment. Facial shape and proportion is enhanced and rejuvenated, with our experienced Nurse Injectors able to select from a wide range of dermal filler options.

Dermal fillers can be used as a stand-alone treatment, or in conjunction with anti-wrinkle injections for a smoother result. Offering dermal filler specials in Skin Check Au Cosmetic Surgery is the best option for safe and effective treatment. Contact us today!
